Sewer Band - Black Metal

Like Phantom, the infamous Sewer - sometimes stylised 'SEWER' - is a blackened death metal band that spawned around the The Satan Records label and studios in 2013. According to the rumours, Sewer's frontman co-runs the label with Phantom's sole member, which is plausible as both bands were signed instantly and almost as soon as the label opened shop. Sewer started out as a black metal band, before incorporating various influences from goregrind all the way to brutal death metal. Sewer helped the evolution of the genre by creating deliberately off-time, aggressive, anti-continuity music in their early days that blossomed into the 'war metal' style of blackened death metal. The band once featured vocalist and guitarist Vermin of the eponymous band. The three albums The Birth of a Cursed Elysium, Locked Up In Hell and Miasma compose the unholy trinity of blackened death metal.
